You can kiss your family good-bye and put miles between you, but at the same time you carry them with you in your heart, your mind, your stomach, because you do not just live in a world, but a world lives in you.

Cinderella Goes to the Ball

The annual Father daughter Dance was held at our clubhouse last night. Bo and Grandpa Jackson escorted Ally and Kelsey to the dinner dance in their very finest. Bo went over to Grandpa's house to get ready and then they came here at 5:45 to pick up the girls who were primping for close to 45 minutes. We put on pretty dresses, wore the crowns we got from Aunt Jackie, put our hair up in pretty curls and even got special shoes for the event. When Bo and Grandpa arrived, they had corsages for the girls to wear. They met Darby at the gazebo with all their friends to take pictures before the big night. It was snowing outside and that just made for a perfect picture taking opportunity. You couldn't get more fairytale than snow on the night of the Father Daughter Dance. Below are a few pictures of the night, but there is a full selection of them at the Shutterfly share site.

Pickles the Pony Comes for a Visit

Every weekend Kelsey's class mascot goes home with a different student. Each student gets to take Pickles on fun trips for the weekend and then the student does a scrapbook page of all the fun things they did together. This weekend was Kelsey's weekend to have Pickles for a visit and we had lots of fun playing with him.
On Thursday, Pickles went with us to dance class.

On Friday, he helped Kelsey color a picture on the Junie B. Jones website.

On Saturday, Pickles spent the night with Grandma and Grandpa Jackson. Flat Stanley is visiting from our friend Ryan, so he went along too. They played with other ponies first and then they watched Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure.

On Sunday, Pickles and Kelsey spent the day cuddling on the couch.

We will miss you being here with us Pickles. Hope you have many more fun weekends with Kelsey's friends!!
