You can kiss your family good-bye and put miles between you, but at the same time you carry them with you in your heart, your mind, your stomach, because you do not just live in a world, but a world lives in you.

15 Month Well Check

Drew went in for his 15 month well check today and we got a perfect report from the doctor. He weighed in at 26 lbs. 12 oz. and was over 31 inches tall. He remains around the 75th percentile for height and weight and is in the 50th percentile for head circumference...all good things. They checked him from head to toe and found nothing we needed to be concerned about. He's not walking yet, but he's doing all the pre-walking things...crawling, pulling up, bearing weight, standing alone...so they said he'd take his first steps when he was ready but that it would probably be sooner than later now that he knows how to keep up with older sisters. They weren't concerned about his lack of words...we really don't say much other than da-da and ma-ma. But, when you point to things, he responds and he babbles constantly. She said once he starts walking there will be a HUGE jump in his vocabulary because he'll have one less thing to work on. As for now, we are supposed to continue what we're doing and all will be well in his world. :)
Happy babies = happy parents!!! :)
